Rent changes and renewals

Change a lease's rent from a day, for a yearly increase or a rent agreed again. The rent before stays on record; a month the change falls in costs each part at its own rate.

Write a yearly increase (escalation) once, such as 5%, and Soofair sets the new rent from each anniversary of the lease, each year on the year before. Use only a percent the law and the contract allow: homes under rent control have a ceiling.

Renew a fixed-term lease to move its last day later, or to let it go on month to month. The deposit, the months paid and the contract's history carry on.

Soofair emails the owner of the business 60 days before a fixed lease ends.
