Documents, lease contracts and move-in reports

Keep IDs, permits, receipts and photos on a tenant, lease, property or unit: PDF, JPEG or PNG, at most 4 MB each, stored privately.

A lease's contract is made from the lease in plain language. Someone allowed to sign for the business signs it, then the tenant signs it in the Tenant app. The wording has not been reviewed by a lawyer yet.

The owner can set a rule under Settings, Approving leases below asking rent: a lease starting further below its unit's asking rent is signed only once someone allowed to approve leases says yes, within 7 days. Units without an asking rent never wait.

A move-in or move-out report records each area of the unit and its condition, signed for the business. The move-out report starts from the move-in report, so the two compare.
